Since opening in 1958, Chuck Levin's Washington Music Center (WMC) has been the number one, single-owned musical instrument retailer in the country. This mom-and-pop shop began in the heart of our Nation's Capital, then in 1968, it moved to a bigger location in the neighboring suburbs of Wheaton, Maryland where its reputation in the industry grew all over the world with manufacturers and musicians alike. Each year its inventory grew larger as it became an authorized dealer for the industry's top brands. And with the knowledge of its legendary staff, it took successful chances on lesser-known brands at the time, including Paul Reed Smith Guitars, Gator Cases, and Eastman Strings. And they are ready to ship all over the world if you can't walk in. WMC has always been a part of the local, and national school systems. They have been an advocate for music education at every school level. They have also built a relationship with all of our United States Military branches and have a department devoted to both education, and military sales. As their original slogan stated, Chuck Levin's is Everything In Music. |
